“(2) An appeal lies to the Court from any order or judgment of the Court of Appeal in England and Wales in civil proceedings. … (6) An appeal under subsection (2) lies only with the permission of the Court of Appeal or the Supreme Court; but this is subject to provision under any other enactment restricting such an appeal.”
“The judgment given on appeal may be contested only by the proceedings referred to in the list notified by each member state to the Commission pursuant to article 68.”

“(1) All such rights, powers, liabilities, obligations and restrictions from time to time created or arising by or under the Treaties, and all such remedies and procedures from time to time provided for by or under the Treaties, as in accordance with the Treaties are without further enactment to be given legal effect or used in the United Kingdom shall be recognised and available in law, and be enforced, allowed and followed accordingly; …”
“(4) … any enactment passed or to be passed … shall be construed and have effect subject to the foregoing provisions of this section …”

In this respect, although, by virtue of the very nature of regulations and of their function in the system of sources of Community law, the provisions of those regulations generally have immediate effect in the national legal systems without its being necessary for the national authorities to adopt measures of application, some of their provisions may nonetheless necessitate, for their implementation, the adoption of measures of application by the member states.”
