“there have been regular updates during the offender's sentence and A has maintained contact, expressed concerns and requested additional licence conditions are in place to ensure the safety and protection of her children. Despite A’s children now being adults, contact remains with A due to the emotional harm caused; therefore A can update them at a time it is felt suitable depending on their wellbeing and information being provided. It’s clear from contact with A that she fully understands the effects the offences have had on her children and remains the point of contact to try to protect them”
