JUDGMENT
[1]The complaint of unfair dismissal is well-founded. This means the respondent unfairly dismissed the claimant.[2]A 25% reduction on the compensatory award for unfair dismissal will be made under Polkey -v- A. E. Dayton Services Limited [1988] ICR 142.[3]The claimant is awarded £5,365.97 in respect of his claim for unfair dismissal, consisting of:3.1 a NIL basic award; and3.2 a compensatory award of £5,365.97 comprising loss of earnings of £4,865.97 (i.e. £6,487.96 being loss of earnings from 7 May 2021 to 31 March 2022 less 25% Polkey deduction) and loss of statutory employment rights of £500.
