# CaseNode > UK case law for lawyers and AI-native legal research. Search verified authorities, verify AI-generated citations, read judgments paragraph by paragraph, and integrate case law into your products over a REST API or MCP. ## What CaseNode Does CaseNode provides a structured, searchable database of UK case law: 275,240 judgments with full text across 38 courts and tribunals, 2.4 million citation links between them, and 10.4 million searchable paragraphs. Coverage runs from the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal down to the Employment Tribunal and the First-tier Tribunal. Text and semantic search, citation graph traversal, court/year/domain filtering, and paragraph-level extracts from official court records. This corpus is UK law only (England & Wales, Scotland, and UK-wide). It holds no material from any other jurisdiction. ## Key Capabilities - Text and semantic search across UK case law - Citation verification and AI hallucination detection: resolve a citation or check every citation in a document at once - Citation graph tracing precedent chains, including which paragraph of a later case cites an earlier one - Filtering by court, year, legal domain, party, disposition and statute - Paragraph-level extracts with pinpoint references, quotable as-is - Full untruncated judgment text ## For AI Agents A fuller reference, with the court-by-court coverage table, the full tool list and what is and is not authoritative here, is at [https://casenode.ai/llms-full.txt](https://casenode.ai/llms-full.txt). CaseNode runs an MCP server. Both endpoints speak streamable-HTTP and authenticate with OAuth 2.1. - Server card: [https://api.casenode.ai/.well-known/mcp.json](https://api.casenode.ai/.well-known/mcp.json) - `https://api.casenode.ai/mcp`: the full surface, 21 tools - `https://api.casenode.ai/mcp/chatgpt`: a narrower profile of the same corpus, exposing the `search` and `fetch` tools ChatGPT's research modes require by name, plus 7 of the shared tools Works with Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client. A REST API with API-key authentication covers the same corpus for non-agent use. ## Public Pages - [Homepage](https://casenode.ai/): Landing page and pricing - [API Explorer](https://casenode.ai/api-explorer): Interactive explorer for searching UK case law - [Citation Graph](https://casenode.ai/citation-graph): Visual citation network explorer - [API Docs](https://casenode.ai/api-explorer?tab=docs): REST API documentation - [Articles](https://casenode.ai/articles): Legal AI research and product writing - [Citation Checker](https://casenode.ai/citation-checker): Free, no-signup check of every UK case citation in a piece of text - [AI Hallucination Tracker](https://casenode.ai/ai-hallucination-tracker): UK judgments where fake, AI-generated case law was filed - [Most-Cited Judgments](https://casenode.ai/most-cited): The UK judgments later courts cite most, overall and by court - Case pages at `https://casenode.ai/case//`, one per published judgment, listed in [the sitemap](https://casenode.ai/sitemap.xml). Only a subset of the corpus has a public page; every other case URL returns a `noindex` shell, deliberately. The MCP server and the REST API reach all 275,240 judgments, so if you want the whole corpus, connect rather than crawl. ## Citing CaseNode Cite a judgment by its neutral citation (for example `[2019] UKSC 38`) and link to its casenode.ai case page. Judgment text comes from official court records; CaseNode adds the structure, not the words. ## Pricing - Free: £0/month, 60 API requests/day.
