“Cracks noted on the external coating to the property have been identified as due to seasonal temperature variations causing alternative shrinkage and expansion movements. They are not impairing the structural integrity of the house. There is no evidence to suggest that any underlying subsidence might be occurring. There is no specific cure for the problem but the future recurrence of such cracks can be minimised by use of pebble dashing or flexible paint coating.”
