[1]Removing the general embargo (United Kingdom) (02 August 1809)[2]No. 4. - At the Court at the Queen's Palace, the 2d. of August 1809.[3]PRESENT-The King's most Excellent Majesty in Council.[5]It is this day ordered by his Majesty in Council, that the general embargo laid by his Majesty's Order in Council, dated the twelfth of last month, upon all ships and vessels in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (except as therein excepted) be taken off: And the right honourable the Lords Commissioners of his Majesty's Treasury, the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty, and the Lord Warden - of the Cinque Ports, are to give the necessary directions herein as to them may respectively appertain.
