“We, the undersigned, do hereby declare our acceptance of the trust reposed in us by the deceased James Crichton, Esq. of Friars-Carse, conform to his deed of settlement, of date12th November 1821 , and two several codicils annexed thereto, and shall execute the same to the best of our abilities.”
