The children help out in the evenings and at weekends in the shop and are paid for this and the money paid to them is theirs to spend how they wish. 11. [The appellant] advised that the children tend to spend all of their income especially in view of the amount of stuff lying around at home. ”
“ With regard to points 9-11. This is not entirely accurate; it is common practice within Asian households that families share everything – there is very little or no divisions to access to cash/wealth. Wages are not always ‘paid’ more so formed part of the family pot. ”
