“The nature of the transactions within the loan account were not examined but is believed to be personal expenditure of the directors met by the company. While such balances are not unusual in privately owned and managed businesses the owners do need to be aware of the difficult financial situation of the company and assess whether the company should continue to make such payments on their behalf. It is considered that the magnitude of the sums advanced via the directors’ loan account is excessive, given the financial situation of the company and for the foreseeable future no further advances be made.”
