Woodcocks Butchers Limited v The Pensions Regulator [2025] UKFTT 1141 (GRC)
[1]The Appellant lodged an appeal using the GRC1 form on 20 March 2025. The appeal was incomplete as the Appellant did not include a copy of the decision they sought to challenge, sign the statement of truth or state the result the Appellant is seeking in section 9.[2]The Tribunal wrote to inform the Appellant that the appeal was incomplete on 2 April 2025. By Directions dated 2 April 2025 the Appellant was required to provide a copy of the decision they sought to challenge to the Tribunal within 28 days. The Appellant failed to do so.[3]By Directions issued on 11 June 2025 the Appellant was required to complete section 9 of the GRC1 form, sign the Statement of Truth and provide a dated copy of the decision to the Tribunal by 9 July 2025.[4]The Appellant was directed to note that failure to comply with the Direction could lead to the Tribunal striking out the appeal for failure to comply without further direction.[5]The Appellant failed to comply with the Direction dated 11 June 2025 and accordingly there are grounds to strike out the appeal.
