[1]APPEARANCES For the Appellant MISS L SEYMOUR (of Counsel) Instructed by: Messrs Stevens & Bolton Solicitors The Billings Walnut Tree Close Guildford Surrey GU1 4YD `JUDGE A WILKIE QC These are conjoined appeals by Hindhead Royal British Legion Club Ltd against a Decision of the Employment Tribunal that the Respondent discriminated against Mrs Hinton, under the provisions of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and the Decision of the same Tribunal which awarded her, on 2 July 2001, £7,000 by way of damages for injury to feelings.[2]The Notices of Appeal, respectively, set out issues which we are satisfied are reasonably arguable, and therefore our view is that each of these appeals should be permitted to go forward to a full hearing on the grounds raised in those Notices of Appeal.[3]We categorise the appeals as Category C, and we accept Miss Seymour's time estimate of three hours for the combined hearing of these appeals.
