[1]APPEARANCES For the Appellant NO APPEARANCE OR REPRESENTATION BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE APPELLANT HER HONOUR JUDGE A WAKEFIELD We are going to adjourn the Preliminary Hearing of this appeal and we are going to ask that the Employment Tribunal provide to this Appeal Tribunal the notice of the Preliminary Hearing that was sent out to the parties together with any correspondence from the Tribunal to the original Respondent (that is the present Appellant) as to that Preliminary Hearing, and any correspondence from him to the Tribunal as regards it. We also require from the Employment Tribunal the Chairman's notes of the evidence of the hearing on 4 October 2000.[2]We order that a letter be sent from this Appeal Tribunal to the Appellant to notify him that he should appear at the adjourned hearing of this appeal and that if he fails to do so there is a strong likelihood that the appeal will not be allowed to proceed to a full hearing.
