[1]APPEARANCES For the Appellants MR P WOODHOUSE (Solicitor) Instructed By: Messrs Cartwrights Solicitors Marsh House 11 Marsh Street Bristol BS99 7BB JUDGE LEVY: This is an appeal against a decision on a preliminary point on the effective date of termination of employment where, at a hearing before a Chairman and members on 16 March 1999, the panel was divided as to the appropriate date.[2]It is clear to us that there is an arguable point of law to go forward. It is also clear from looking at page 12 of our bundle that the application to an Industrial Tribunal by the Applicant was received on 30 November 1998, hence enquiry about the date of effective determination as explored in the Extended Reasons. We will therefore leave this to go forward to a full hearing; estimated time, half a day or under, Category C. Chairman to be asked to provide his Notes of the Evidence of Kevin Hackett.
