“What I am most concerned about here is that you were under pressure, in difficulty, and you were then prepared to embark upon one of the most dangerous enterprises a criminal can involve himself in, and, not only that, having done so you were prepared to escape at all costs for the life and limbs of anybody else on the motorway, and then you say you are not dangerous. It seems to me that both of you have previous convictions for robbery, although in different circumstances, and both of you were prepared to embark upon this serious criminal venture without having any clue or regard to the risks to other people. You must qualify as dangerous. The sentence you get therefore is an indefinite sentence.”
