JUDGMENT
Rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024 No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 22:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £812.24 (71 hours pay at a rate of £11.44 per hour) from which any tax and national insurance fall to be deducted.[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the gross sum of £6,864 (12 weeks’ pay at a rate of £572 per week) from which any tax and national insurance fall to be deducted.[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £16,302 (1.5 weeks’ pay in respect of 19 years’ completed service at based on an average of £572 per week).[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £1,144 (10 days’ holiday pay at a rate of £114.40 per day) from which any tax and national insurance fall to be deducted.
