JUDGMENT
For the reasons given orally at the Hearing on 2 February 2026 the Tribunal finds the claimant’s application to be well-founded and makes the following Judgment:[1]The claimant was made redundant from her position as a Hairdresser by the respondent on 1 May 2025 being the date of receipt by her of an email from the respondent dated 30 April 2025 terminating her employment on the grounds of redundancy;[2]That the claimant, given her length of service (5 years) was entitled to 5 weeks’ notice pay and the respondents shall pay the claimant the sum of One Thousand, Two Hundred and One Pounds and Twenty Pence (£1,201.20) in lieu thereof;[3]The respondent shall pay the claimant a redundancy payment, based on her length of service (5 years) and age, amounting to One Thousand, Two Hundred and One Pounds and Twenty Pence (£1,201.20);[4]At the date of termination of the claimant’s employment she was entitled to accrued holiday pay and received payment of one week’s holiday pay paid by the respondent. The claimant was entitled to be paid two weeks holiday pay. The respondent shall pay the claimant the balance of her holiday entitlement amounting to Two Hundred and Forty Pounds and Twenty-Four Pence (£240.24).
