JUDGMENT

No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1349.49 (gross).[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice. The claimant had been employed by the respondent for 5 years and so was entitled to 5 weeks’ notice under s86 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £1980.00 (gross).[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1584 (gross).[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £463.10 (gross).[5]The hearing listed on 26 August 2024 is cancelled.
