JUDGMENT

No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £14,166.65 .That being the sum of wages unpaid in the months of January – April 2024 (£4,166.66 for the period of 25 January – 15 February 2024, and £4583.33 per month for the period 16 February – 22 April 2024). In addition, the claimant is owed the sum of £833.33 in backdated pay resulting from a salary increase for the months of December 2023 and January 2024.[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1458 (7 days’ gross pay).[3]The respondent has failed to pay employer pension contributions in breach of contract and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1854.14. The respondent was required to contribute a sum amounting to 5% of the claimant’s salary each month. For the period of August – November 2023, £187.50 per month should have been contributed. For the period December 2023 – January 2024, £208.33 per month should have been contributed. For the period February – April 2024, £229.16 per month should have been contributed.[4]The hearing listed on 2 August 2024 is cancelled.
