Mr D J Wilder v Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and The Home Office: 6300103/2001
JUDGMENT
The part of the claim which relates to the terms and conditions of the claimant’s employment as a retained firefighter is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 24 October 2017 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the claim for terms and conditions should not be struck out because it has not been actively pursued.[2]The letter was sent to the claimant’s last known address. The tribunal has been informed that the current occupant of the house has lived at that address for 18 years. The claimant’s former representatives and the respondent are unable to provide the tribunal with a current address for the claimant.[3]The claimant has not kept the tribunal informed of his address.[4]The claim has not been actively pursued and the claim in relation to terms and conditions of employment as a retained firefighter is struck out for this reason. Case No: 6300103/2001[5]That part of the claimant’s claim which relates to pension entitlement is stayed pending further order.
