The claim was presented in the Newcastle Employment Tribunal on 20 October 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[1]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant the gross amount of £12,022.27.[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and must pay the claimant the gross amount of £1164.16.[3]The Tribunal has no jurisdiction to award £1,500.00 compensation as claimed , nor to reimburse unpaid employer’s pension contributions.[4]The hearing listed on 17 September 2026 is cancelled.
