JUDGMENT
[1]It was in accordance with the overriding objective to deal with cases fairly and justly to proceed with the Hearing in the Respondent’s absence.[2]The Respondent employed the Claimant from 2 June 2025 to 25 July 2025 inclusive.[3]The Claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well founded.[4]The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant the sum of £3,815.02 (less such deductions for income tax and employee National Insurance Contributions as it is obliged to make by law).[5]The Respondent must comply with paragraph 4 of this Judgment within 14 days of the date of this Judgment, in accordance with rule 64 of The Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024.
