JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the London South Employment Tribunal on 22 August 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages (£75 in May 2025 and £281.25 in June 2025) and must pay the claimant £356.25 gross.[3]The respondent must pay the claimant £356.25 in total.[4]The claimant must account to HMRC for any sums owed by her in respect of any payment received by her pursuant to this judgment.[5]The claimant's claim for £2000 for stress caused by the tribunal process does not succeed and is dismissed. The tribunal does not have jurisdiction to award this sum as compensation for a claim for unlawful deduction of wages Approved by:
