JUDGMENT
[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The Respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the Claimant's wages in the period May and June 2025. This included wages and a bonus which the Respondent was obliged to pay.[2]The Respondent shall pay the Claimant £12,046.83, which is the gross sum deducted. The Claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance.[3]Under section 163 Employment Rights Act 1996 it is determined that the Claimant is also entitled to a redundancy payment of £2,157.[4]Accordingly, the Respondent shall pay the Claimant the total sum of £14,203.83. 1 of 2 Case Number:6030617/2025
