JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was not presented within the applicable time limit, but it was not reasonably practicable to do so. The claim was presented within a further reasonable period. The claim will therefore proceed.[2]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in the period December 2024 to 10th March 2025, as follows: £6,976.09 in unpaid wages, £3,902.22 deducted as student loan payments but not paid and £1,800.75 deducted as pension contributions but not paid.[3]The respondent shall pay the claimant £12,679.06, which is the gross sum deducted. The claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance. Case No. 6030428/2025[4]Any amount that remains unpaid 14 days from the date of this judgment will incur interest at a rate of 8% per annum.[5]The judge apologises for the delay in providing this judgment caused by her ill-health.
