JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the London South Employment Tribunal on 3 December 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £2,456.36 gross.[3]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £1842,27 calculated as follows: The claimant worked for the respondent for 3 years and his weekly pay was £619.09.The claimant was 38 years old at the time he was made redundant and is entitled to 3 weeks redundancy pay.[4]The respondent must pay the claimant £4,298.63 in total.[5]The hearing listed on 6 May 2025 is cancelled.
