JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Manchester Employment Tribunal on 27 May 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £16,234.20 (1.5 weeks’ pay for each full year worked when the claimant was aged 41 and over: 1.5 x 20 x £541.14 = £16,234.20)[3]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s accrued but untaken annual leave entitlement of 3 weeks on termination of employment and must pay the claimant £1,623.42.[4]The respondent must pay the claimant £17,857.62 in total.[5]The hearing listed on 5 February 2026 is cancelled.
