[1]The claim of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant's wages in the period 1 September 2024 up to the completion of a half day on 1 October 2024.[2]The respondent shall pay the claimant £3069.23, which is the gross sum deducted. The claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance.[3]The respondent was in breach of contract by failing to pay the claimant’s notice period for half a day on 1 October until 4 October 2024.[4]The respondent shall pay the claimant £484.61 being damages for the breach of contract.
