JUDGMENT
An application by the respondent to amend its response to include a counterclaim for breach of contract having been refused, the judgment of the Tribunal is as follows: Unpaid Wages[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages in the period 7 September 2024 to 1 November 2024.[2]The respondent owes the claimant the gross sum of £13,250 less the net amount paid to the claimant in September 2024 (which was £1,500) and after the appropriate deductions have been made for tax and National Insurance, which the respondent shall pay directly to HMRC.
