JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Manchester Employment Tribunal on 3rd May 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The unfair dismissal complaint is well-founded. The claimant was unfairly dismissed. Compensation for unfair dismissal[3]The respondent shall pay the claimant the following sums in relation to the claim of unfair dismissal:a. a basic award of £2,100.00 gross.b. A compensatory award of £19,125 (based on the information supplied by the claimant) made up of: Three months’ loss of earnings and benefits totalling £14,625.00 Further partial loss of earnings from the date the claimant obtained new employment and for a further nine months of £4,500.00. Note that these are gross sums, statutory deductions may be payable.[4]The total amount payable by the respondent to the claimant under this judgment is £21,225. Approved by:
