Mr M Hadley v SwitchMyBusiness: 6015102/2024
JUDGMENT
[1]Neither party attended this final hearing. Attempts were made this morning to contact the claimant but without success.[2]In the claim form the claimant complained that the respondent made unauthorised deductions from his wages. The claimant did not present any evidence to support his complaint.[3]The respondent had not entered a notice of appearance although the Employment Tribunal office had raised concerns with the claimant about the correct identity of the respondent. The Employment Tribunal wrote to the claimant on 17 December 2024 to ask for more information which might show who the claimant was employed by. The claimant did not respond to that letter.[4]In the circumstances and in the absence of any evidence to confirm the claimant’s employment by the respondent and/or in support of the complaint that there had been unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s pay, I dismissed the claim.
