The complaint of Redundancy payment is struck out.REASONS
[1]By a letter dated 23rd October 2024 the Tribunal gave the claimant an opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing, as to why the complaint of Redundancy payment should not be struck out because it appears from your claim that you were employed for less than two years. The Tribunal cannot consider your complaint that you are entitled to redundancy pay.[2]The claimant has failed to make representations in writing, or has failed to make any sufficient representations, why this should not be done or to request a hearing. The complaint of redundancy pay is therefore struck out.[3]The claimant’s remaining claim(s) remains listed for hearing on 14th March 2025.[1]Notwithstanding that a Response has been presented, the respondent has failed to indicate that the case is contested, as highlighted in the Employment Tribunal’s letter of 10 January 2025.[2]The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made on the claim in accordance with Rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure. 2. The claimant’s claim in respect of arrears of pay is well founded. The respondent is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1,680.00*. *This award is made gross so may be liable for deduction for tax and national insurance, if appropriate. Approved by
