JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Employment Tribunal on 11 April 2025. The respondent is in voluntary liquidation. The liquidators presented a response on 6 January 2026 stating that no part of the claim is contested. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024.[2]The complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages in respect of arrears of pay succeeds. The respondent made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages for a period of 10 months, contrary to section 13 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The respondent must pay the claimant the arrears of pay owing, in the sum of £7,176.89.
