JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Watford Employment Tribunal on 20 September 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages in respect of the period 1 July 2024 to 9 July 2024 inclusive and must pay the claimant £1,246.14 gross in respect of those deductions. The claimant shall be responsible for any income tax and employee national insurance contributions on this payment.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay net damages to the claimant of £6,736.32.[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and must pay the claimant £1,606.14 gross. The claimant shall be responsible for any income tax and employee national insurance contributions on this further payment.[5]The respondent must pay the claimant £9,588.60 in total.[6]The claimant’s remaining claims will be determined at the hearing listed on 20 July 2026.
