JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Manchester Employment Tribunal on 23 March 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £7,586.16 net.[3]This amount is calculated as follows:-3.1 50% unpaid wages from December 2024 £1,837.743.2 Unpaid wages from January 2025 of £3,675.883.3 Unpaid wages of 4 days from February 2025 and 6 days unpaid holiday pay of £2,297.55.3.4 Total amount in unpaid wages £7,811.16 less deduction for cost of a laptop = £7,586.16.[4]The respondent must pay the claimant £7,586.16 in total.[5]The hearing listed on 30 July 2025 is cancelled.
