The claim is struck out and dismissed.REASONS
[1]The claimant did not attend the preliminary hearing held on 27 January 2025. She sent a short email to the Tribunal that morning to say she needed to attend a medical appointment.[2]The claimant had not complied with the previous orders made by the Tribunal. Until the email of 27 January 2025 she had not contacted either the Tribunal or respondent following the submission of her claim.[3]The claimant was sent a letter following the hearing informing her that I was considering striking out her claim because it had not been actively pursued. The claimant was given the opportunity to make representations or to request a hearing. This needed to be done by 24 February 2025. The claimant was also ordered to provide evidence of the medical appointment she said prevented her from attending the hearing and to provide further specific information about her claim.[4]The claimant failed to make representations in writing or ask for a hearing.[5]The claimant did not comply with the order that she provide evidence for her non-attendance. The claimant failed to comply with the order she provide further information about her claim.
