JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the South East Employment Tribunal on 27 February 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure 2024.[2]The respondent:a. made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages in the sum of £1,192.00 (gross) in respect of pay due in October and November 2024;b. failed to give the claimant notice of termination for which the claimant is entitled to damages of one week’s net pay: £210 (net).c. failed to pay the claimant the sum of £444.87 (gross) in respect of 1.94 days holiday accrued but untaken at the termination of employment.[3]The respondent is therefore ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £1,636.87 (gross pay) and £210 (net pay) = £1,846.87 in total.
