JUDGMENT

Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21 In default of the Respondent presenting a Response within the relevant time limit and having regard to Rule 21, Schedule 1 of the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, the Judgment of the Tribunal is that:[1]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant's wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £5000.01.[2]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and is ordered to pay the claimant the gross sum of £833.32.[3]The claim for interest on a loan is dismissed. The Tribunal does not have jurisdiction to consider it as part of a wages claim.[4]The total sum payable by the respondent to the claimant is therefore £5833.33. This sum is subject to deductions by the respondent of any income tax and National Insurance contributions due thereon.
