The judgment of the Tribunal is as follows: The name of the Respondent is amended to Surrey County Council. Wages[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages in the period April – May 2024 although the amount due has subsequently been paid.[2]The respondent shall also pay the claimant £20 to compensate the claimant for financial loss attributable to the unauthorised deduction.
