JUDGMENT

[1]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages is well-founded. The respondent made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant's wages.[2]By no later than 16th December 2024, the respondent shall pay the claimant £400, which is the gross sum deducted. The claimant is responsible for the payment of any tax or National Insurance.[3]The complaint of race discrimination is dismissed as the claimant has withdrawn this claim. There are no further claims or complaints to be determined by the tribunal.[4]Interest will accrue at a rate of 8% per annum on any amount of this award that remains unpaid 14 days after the date of this Judgment: see Employment Tribunal (Interest) Order 1990 and s17 Judgments Act 1838.
