JUDGMENT
[1]The claim for a statutory redundancy payment was brought within the period set out in Section 164 (2) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 and it is just and equitable that the claimant should receive a redundancy payment.[2]Under Section 163 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 it is determined that the claimant is entitled to a statutory redundancy payment of £8,085 (being 1.5 weeks gross basic pay of £490 for each of the claimant’s 11 complete years of employment).[3]The complaint of breach of contract (notice pay) was not presented within the applicable time limit. It was reasonably practicable to do so. The complaint for notice pay is therefore dismissed. Approved by
