JUDGMENT

The Judgment of the Tribunal is that:(i) The proper Respondent to these proceedings is PJ Bond Construction Limited.

(ii) The Claimant was a worker as defined in section 230(3) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.

(iii) The Claimant’s claim under part 2 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 (unlawful deduction of wages) is well founded.

(iv) The Respondent is ordered to pay the Claimant £2,300 being 10 days pay at £230 per day. (The above amount is awarded gross, but any amount properly deducted and paid to the relevant authorities on account of the Claimant’s tax shall be treated as a valid discharge of the Judgment.)
