JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the London South Employment Tribunal on 06 February 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages of £2780.44 for December 2024 and £2259.59 for January 2025 minus £200 paid by the respondent on 17 January 2025 and must pay the claimant £4836.03 gross.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice for 4 weeks at £685.87 per week and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £2743.48 gross.[4]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £2057.61. This was calculated using the above weekly wage, the claimant’s age of 34, and 3 years of service with the respondent at the date of dismissal.[5]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement of 2.7 days and must pay the claimant £274.34 gross.[6]The respondent must pay the claimant £9911.46 in total.[7]The hearing listed on 17 September 2025 is cancelled.
