JUDGMENT

The claim is dismissed

REASONS

[1]The Claimant did not join the hearing at 2.00pm.[2]In accordance with rule 47, the Tribunal took the following steps:2.1 The Clerk to the Tribunal tried to telephone the Claimant twice to find out why he had not joined the hearing. On each occasion the telephone rang off.2.2 The Clerk to the Tribunal also e-mailed the Claimant requesting he join the hearing.2.3 The Tribunal delayed the start of the hearing to allow the Claimant an opportunity to join. Case Number: 6002971/2024[3]Despite the above steps, and without having any explanation for the Claimant’s continued non-attendance, the Tribunal considered it was just and appropriate to dismiss the claim.
