JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Manchester Employment Tribunal on 27 January 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The complaint of unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages is wellfounded. The respondent and must pay the claimant £3,846.15 gross (Unpaid wages of 5 weeks at a weekly rate of £769.23 = £3,846.15).[3]The respondent has breached the contract of employment by failing to pay expenses and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £652.81.[4]The respondent must pay the claimant £4,498.96 in total.
