JUDGMENT

[1]The claim was presented in the Watford Employment Tribunal on 23 January 2025. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 22 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £8,542.50 gross.[3]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent must pay damages to the claimant of £15,450 gross.[4]The respondent has failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and must pay the claimant £772.50 gross.[5]Any failure on the part of the respondent to account to HMRC for employer or employee national insurance contributions is a matter for HMRC. Any failure on the part of the respondent to pay employer pension contributions on the claimant's behalf is a matter for the Pensions Regulator.[6]The Claimant's further claims, if any, will be considered and determined at a Hearing in due course.
