[1]The Claimant, presented a claim on 31 August 2023, making complaints of age discrimination, race discrimination and unlawful deduction from wages. The Respondent failed to present a response.[3]This hearing was listed as a remedy hearing and by letter dated 1 May 2024, the Claimant was ordered to write to the Tribunal before 8 May 2024 explaining how much she was claiming and how that figure had been calculated. Whilst the Claimant sent an email to the Claimant stating her current pay, she did not set out how much she was claiming.[4]Neither party attended the hearing. The clerk to the Tribunal attempted to call the Claimant, but the number provided on the ET1 claim form indicated that the number was no longer in use.[5]This is a strike out warning. I am considering striking out the claim because:5.1 it appears that the Claimant has not complied with the order of the Tribunal dated 1 May 2024; and5.2 the Claimant has not been actively pursuing the case. Case Number: 6001684/2023 2 of 2[6]If you wish to object to this proposal, you should give your reasons in writing or request a hearing at which you can make them within 7 days of this order being sent to you.
