Mr K Ziajski v Morgan King Group: 6000933/2024
JUDGMENT
Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013 – Rule 21[1]The claim was issued in the Leeds Employment Tribunals on 10 March 2024. The respondent has failed to present a valid response on time. The Employment Judge has decided that a determination can properly be made of the claim, or part of it, in accordance with rule 21 of the Rules of Procedure.[2]The name of the respondent is amended to Morgan King Group.[3]The respondent has made unauthorised deductions from the claimant’s wages and must pay the claimant £126 gross.[4]The claimant’s claim for the costs of travelling to work of £30 is dismissed. This is not an expense arising from the unauthorised deduction and the claimant has not asserted that he had a contractual right to be paid for those expenses.[5]The claimant did not attend the hearing today so his claim for the costs of attending the hearing is also refused.
