JUDGMENT

[1]No response to the claim has been presented. Accordingly, pursuant to Rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Rules 2024, the claimant’s complaints of unlawful deduction from wages, notice pay, unpaid holiday pay, unfair dismissal and for a statutory redundancy payment succeed.[2]An award of £15,243.54 is made, payable by the respondent to the claimant. This is the full amount sought by the claimant and comprises:a. £7,070 (statutory redundancy payment);b. £1,992.40 (pay for 14.8 days’ accrued but untaken holiday);c. £1,470.14 (remaining unpaid salary from September to December 2024); andd. £4,711 (7 weeks’ unpaid notice pay).[3]All of the above sums are payable on a net basis; in other words these are the sums payable after any tax and national insurance contributions payable have been deducted.[4]The hearing listed for 17-18 July 2025 is vacated and will not take place.
