JUDGMENT

No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The respondent has made an unauthorised deduction from the claimant’s wages and is ordered to pay the claimant the sum of £235.[2]The claimant has incurred bank charges as a result of late payment of wage amounting to £386 and the Tribunal makes a declaration to that effect and orders the respondent to pay of the claim the sum of £386 as a result of financial loss sustained by the claimant which is attributable to the respondent’s failure to pay wages to the claim timeously, all in terms of section 24 (2) of the Employment Rights Act 1996.[3]The hearing listed on 7 March 2019 is cancelled.
