No response has been presented to this claim and an Employment Judge has decided to issue the following judgment on the available material under rule 21:[1]The claimant was dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and the respondent is ordered to pay damages to the claimant in the sum of £3,400 being 8 weeks’ pay.[2]The claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and is entitled to a redundancy payment of £5,100 being the amount calculated with reference to the following at date of termination of employment: - age of the claimant (59), length of service (8 complete years) and weekly wage £425.
